A Changing of the Guard

Dear New Flash Fiction Review Readers,

We have some exciting news about changes at NFFR. First off, we welcome web designer, Keith Powell, who has worked with some of the classic qualities of the NFFR original design (sheep, sheep, and sheep!) and Keith has done wonderful, miraculous things. Please take a look! We are overjoyed. https://newflashfiction.com/about-nffr/!

Immeasurable gratitude to Al Kratz who for several years has been our amazing managing editor and web designer. Al will remain on the team as consulting editor. Valerie Fox will take over as managing editor. Karen Jones and Mary Thompson will continue on as fiction editors. We’re pleased to have Constance Malloy reading fiction for the upcoming issue, as well.

Since 2014 we have been featuring truly the best of flash fiction and numerous pop-up special features. We will honor and continue these traditions—do stay tuned for details about upcoming interviews and compelling upcoming themes.

For now, if you’re a writer, send us your best work. If you’re a reader, spread the word about New Flash Fiction Review to your reader and writer friends. We look forward to the next NFFR chapter and look forward to sharing it with you. Our submission window reopens on November 15th. For our next issue, we’re featuring micros (word limit 250 words).
